Of course, Arugas has an experienced team ready to do the installation for you at a good price. For more information, please contact us at 585-1198 or e-mail us at [email protected]. - How much does a home gas installation cost?
The cost of installation depends on the distance of the cylinder from the kitchen or dryer, how many cylinders you’re going to need, and if you choose to do the installation above or underground. Contact our installation department at 585-1198 and our team will stop by your house to give you an offer. - What’s the difference between a gas installation above ground and one that’s underground?
The above-ground installation is the most common one, and this should be chosen if you want your gas installation close to your kitchen or laundry room. In this case, the pipeline will remain visible and runs from your gas installation to the point of connection with your appliance. An underground installation is not visible and is chosen mostly when the gas installation is located further away from the kitchen or laundry room. In this case, the copper pipeline is placed in a PVC or Polyethylene tube that runs underground and connects your gas installation to your kitchen. If you pick the underground installation, please note that Arugas does not dig the hole for the pipeline. An above-ground installation is cheaper than an underground one. Contact our installation department at 585-1198 and we can assist you in choosing the correct option for your house within your budget. - How long does it take for my installation to be completed?
Most installations are completed within 1 day. This depends on the complexity of the installation. - Does my gas installation need approval before I can receive gas?
Yes, Arugas will inspect the installation at your home and if everything is installed correctly, gas will be provided without a problem.
Commercial Gas Installations
- When is a gas installation considered commercial?
A commercial installation is a gas installation for a company e.g. hotels, restaurants, bakeries, or laundries. This can also include an apartment complex of 3 or more apartments, which are also considered commercial installations. All commercial installations must comply with DTI’s rules. DTI and Arugas adhere to the standards of NFPA 58 and other local regulatory standards. DTI decides the location of the tank, and Arugas works with them to provide the best service for our commercial clients. - What do I have to do if I need a commercial installation for my business?

Arugas does not charge for this service, so contact us so we can come check and help you with your commercial installation today! - How much does a commercial gas installation cost?

The total consumption influences the size of the tank that is required. To get your total costs, contact our installation department at 585-1198 or via e-mail at [email protected] and they will guide you through the process and give you your costs. - What tank sizes does Arugas offer?

The better option for you depends on the consumption of the business. Our experts can help you decide which tank is the best fit for your business. - Do I have to pay for the installation of the gas tank at my business?
